Suzuki Modular Instrument System Engine Interface
The most important part of the SMIS data system. DF40 thru DF250
Suzuki Outboards can connect to the system using the exclusive SMIS
Engine Interface. (Adaptor Cable also needed for DF300 applications .) |

Special Adaptor must be used with SMIS Engine Interface to connect the
DF300 Outboard to the system. |

SMIS Power Cable |

Fused (3A) lead connects extension cable to the power source. |

|
|
The Extension Cable is the mainline of the Suzuki Modular Instrument
System. Data communication runs the length of the boat, capped at
each end with a 120 ohm Terminating Resistor. NMEA 2000 compatible
sensors or other devices can be added by the use of T-connectors
throughout the system. |
